        Discussion on the Application of "LED+Intelligence" in Urban Landscape Lighting

          With the rapid development of China's economic construction and the continuous expansion of urban construction scale, benefiting from the national infrastructure investment and vigorous promotion of policies such as characteristic towns, landscape lighting has received unprecedented attention in urban infrastructure. In the past, urban lighting construction focused on simple public facilities. The functional lighting has developed into landscape lighting with urban and local characteristics. The energy-efficient “LED+Intelligence” has been widely promoted and applied in the field of lighting. Landscape lighting has driven the development of urban tourism and formed business cards with urban characteristics. According to the data, China's semiconductor lighting industry market in 2016 reached 428.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%, of which landscape lighting accounted for 13.5% of the total. It is expected that the national landscape lighting scale will reach 78 billion in 2018. This article will introduce the basic guidelines for "LED + smart" landscape lighting design, and look forward to the future development trend of landscape lighting.
          Urban landscape lighting design features
          1.1 Specification and planning
          The urban landscape lighting shall follow the industry standard JGJ/T 163-2008 "Urban Night Lighting Design Specification" of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China for the design of the scheme, and select the lighting products that meet the national compulsory certification catalogue. This standard complements and refines JGJ/T 163-2008 regarding night lighting that does not cover the use of LEDs as a light source. With the successive introduction of landscape lighting industry and national standards, it marks the gradual improvement of China's urban landscape construction standardization work, so that urban landscape lighting design, construction and acceptance can be based on evidence [1].
          The industry standard JGJ/T163-2008 defines night lighting for all outdoor public event spaces or scenes as landscape lighting. Designers embellish the unique forms and spatial connotations of urban landscapes with lights at night, and construct plazas and buildings to illuminate and brighten the form for public viewing, public buildings, gardens, plazas, transportation hubs, bridges, parks, rivers and mountains and lakes. The landscape lighting of the scenes is intertwined into the city's unique business cards, and the landmark theme is specific and emphasizes the integration of culture and art and lighting. The LED light source and lamps are widely used, and the lighting carriers are diversified by various lighting methods.           The city and city where the urban landscape lighting is at the forefront has successively issued corresponding planning documents.           1.2 "LED + smart" landscape lighting typical application
          Night lighting is a lighting set to meet the night scene effect of the city. It is the infrastructure of urban night lighting. The perfect combination of light and scenery not only creates a comfortable light space, but the artistic effect of harmony between the scene and the light is shown in Figure 1. With the mature application of “LED+Intelligence” in the lighting industry, the combination of high-efficiency energy-saving LED and intelligent control has become the focus of lighting enterprises in night lighting. The intelligent control technology for landscape lighting selection is based on Fieldbus (Programmable Logic Controller). The system achieves control by controlling the number of lighting fixtures in different loops. The "LED+Intelligent" lighting system consists of programmable logic sensors, environmental information detection, power supply monitoring, illumination monitoring, brightness control, communication network and LED lamps. The centralized control of the network reflects the convenience, efficiency and energy saving advantages of “LED+Intelligence” [3].
